Etsy seller babycheeks sells this handy, stylish Atomic Roll Up Changing Pad. The pad is large enough when open (at 14″ x 24″) to change a toddler, but compact enough when rolled up (7″ x 4″ x 2″) to fit in a purse or diaper bag. Made of cotton and terry cloth, it’s machine washable and secures with velcro for easy traveling. You can view this beautiful changing pad at etsy.com: babycheeks where it sells for $20. It would make a great gift.

Members-Only Sale Clubs

Members-Only Sale Clubs

All of a sudden, I’m seeing members-only sale sites springing up everywhere. I’m currently a member of three myself: The Mini Social, Editor’s Closet, and Hautelook. The idea behind these sites is simple. Membership is free, and allows you to shop sales of designer merchandise that generally only last for a few days. While all three offer children’s products, The Mini Social is the only one devoted entirely to children’s gear. It is also the only one I have purchased from. I was pleased with prices (although a bit of Web surfing often finds similar sales that don’t require membership), but I felt the shipping costs were a bit high. Most of these clubs offer incentives for enrolling new members. This really isn’t my thing, but if you are a networker by nature, you might swing some free clothes that way. I have a lot of fun browsing the sales, but I’m not entirely converted yet.

D & G Baby Bottle

D & G Baby Bottle

I’ve seen some pretty over-the-top baby items in the years I’ve been a parent, but this baby bottle from D & G may well take the cake. All about conspicuous consumption, this bottle is made in Italy and decorated with the D & G logo (in either pink or blue). The craziest part is that it only holds 2 oz, which “might” satisfy a tiny newborn. After that, this $51 baby bottle won’t serve much of a purpose. Perhaps it would make a super-stylish doll accessory. You can check it out at   Zappos.com.
